Farm experience

a. Ploughing

Be a Farmer for a Day

Feel the soil under your feet.
Hold the plough.
Walk behind the bullocks.

Visitors get to experience how fields were prepared before tractors existed — a true rural throwback!

Watch trained farmers guide bullocks across the field using a wooden country plough.
Learn how soil is turned, weeds are buried, and seedbeds are prepared — the traditional way.

b. Rice Transplanting

Visitors can enjoy a real rice planting experience in a traditional paddy field.

You step into the soft, wet field and learn how young rice plants are taken from the nursery and planted in straight rows. Our farmers guide you on how to hold the seedlings and place them gently in the mud at the correct depth and spacing.

It is a fun, hands-on activity where children and adults can feel the soil, understand how rice grows, and learn how much effort goes into producing the food we eat every day.

c. Harvesting

When the paddy turns golden and ready, you enter the field and learn how farmers harvest rice using a sickle. Our team shows you how to hold the crop, cut safely, and tie small bundles — just like in traditional village farming.

Visitors understand:

  • When rice is ready for harvest

  • How farmers cut and collect the crop

  • How much hard work goes into every harvest
